The Promise

I'm in Kampar, Perak, right at this moment with grandma nagging everyone within her vicinity.

I watched a DVD just now. The Promise. Beautiful scenes. Beautiful people. Beautiful costume. Beautiful story. Albeit a sad one. Majiam Romeo and Juliet. But this one has a few Romeos who can't wait to 'sacrifice' for our Juliet. But poor Juliet still cannot be with the one man that she loves because she had made a promise with an enchantress that in return for beauty and the admiration of every man, she will not and cannot be with her one true love. Sad, isn't it? Sigh...

Promises made, promises broken. If time can be reversed, would you still choose the same path which you had taken?

You may or you may not.

But life is full of surprises. No matter how hard we avoid 'something' or thought we had avoided 'it', we will inevitably end up in the same boat again.

Could it be because our fate is already written and sealed in the stars?

If that's the case, then why do we still try to avoid 'it'?
