Admirers

Man said, "I want a beautiful woman to be my wife. And I want her to have a lot of admirers. The more the merrier."

I asked, "Why?"

Man answered, "It feeds my ego to have a beauty sleeping by my side every night and knowing that her admirers aren’t and can’t touch her."

I kept quiet upon hearing that. There is no point for me to continue arguing with a self-centered stupid egoistical male chauvinistic pig like him.

But then, if I am given a chance to go back to that day and to have the same conversation with him again, I would reply,

"If I was born a man, I will not just want to marry a woman simply for her beauty. I will marry her, for who she is, for her intelligence, for her understanding, for her strength, and for her love. Your beautiful wife will grow old eventually and all her admirers might be gone one day. When that day comes, will you still want her to be your wife and sleep by your side every night? Will you be satisfied to live with her without the thrill from the competition and the Sexcitement? Will you still love her?"

I don’t know about you, but in my opinion, if you marry someone to feed your stupid ego, you better think twice before doing so.

A beautiful person is bound to have a lot of admirers. As a husband or wife, how much flirtations (towards others) can you take from your spouse? To what extent, will you allow him/her to go out to flirt with others?
(Please don't forget that you are the one who asked for it in the first place! He/she behaves as such is because he/she wants to please you and to feed your stupid ego!)

Now my friend, do tell me again, what would you expect your other half to be?
