What say you?
I threw the following statement to my friends in MSN yesterday to see how they would respond to it:
1) A satirical and critical thinking engineer replied,
"What does that portend?"
2) A logical thinking systems analyst replied,
"Is that a good omen?"
3) A vigilant thinking figures analyst replied,
"Why so chou lou?!" ("Why so rough?!")
4) A money thinking sales engineer replied,
"Oh that bad? How much does it cost you to pay back?"
5) A news hungry paparazzo replied,
"What does that have to do with me? I didn't do it. You can't prove anything. I'm INNOCENT!!!"
6) A badminton fanatic with a pair of spanking new Yonex shoes replied,
"Now you can make use of the super glue."
7) A professional blogger who likes to tell and share stories replied,
"Wow... Thank you for sharing!"
8) A sibeh nosey and super humsup blog reader, Mr Vad3r, replied,
"And?"
9) A sweet-talking ladies-charmer replied,
"Ohhh... Did you hurt yourself??"
10) My down-to-earth and level-headed baby sister replied,
"Did you clean up the mess?"
Frankly speaking, it is very interesting to note that your personality and your profession determine the way you see and respond to a situation.
Being a girl myself, I would have to say that most girls will melt at this response:
That is because it sounds like a genuine concern, as if he really cares about whether you are injured or not. And I think this is also the reason why the said Casanova is so popular amongst girls.
On the other hand, I think the most unpleasant reply has got to be this:
It sounds like a typical MCP's disapproving remark, Category 5 - The Correct-Me Group. Without having to investigate, he has already assumed the worst and that it must be your rough-handling that caused the spoon to fall and break.
And lastly, can you guys guess who has given me the besTEST response amongst all?
My baby sister laa. *Hehehe*
She said,
She is so sensible and practical. Just like me. Weee... ;p
