Bloggers are like clowns

A reader asked me:

Why don't you tell your friends about your blog?

Fear of judgement?

Fear of letting them know what we are really thinking of?

Well, if my friends know about my blog then I can't write stories about them anymore. *wink wink*

And blogging allows me to express 'the other side' of me which I don't want any of them to know about. Because it might scare them, it might hurt them, and it might confuse them.

I'm also afraid of:
  1. Letting them know me too well,
  2. Letting them know what I'm really thinking about,
  3. Being judged,
  4. Being discriminated,
  5. Losing them as friends.
Now, let me ask you a question:

Would you let your friends or family members read your diary?

And why?

Is it because of the same reasons?

I think we bloggers are just like a bunch of heavy make-up butt-itchy closet clowns. We like to mingle, we like to entertain, we like the attention, we like the acknowledgement, and we also like the anonymity (that's why the heavy make-up).

And because all of us are clowns, we know how clowns are, what clowns do and why clowns cry. We appreciate each other and accept each other with open arms.

Those who are not clowns themselves will not understand what is clowning all about. They will perceive your behaviour as immature and the worst part is they will conclude that you are just plain peculiar because you strip yourself naked and let others jeer and cheer at you.

They will wonder why a sane and educated person like you would want to do something like that. And do you think they would like it if they found out that they are the subject of your jokes?

So, the answer is NO, I won't let any of them know about my blog unless they are the clowns too themselves. :)

Ed note: I'm going to take a lot of the dumplings pictures, show it in my blog here and make you salivate like a dog!!! *Woof Woof* Muahehehehe!!!
