k2oc.com

Conversation 1
Tns: How many KMs have you driven so far?
Me: Errr... Slightly under 500 KM... Why?
Tns: Drive more so that you will be able to find out early if your car got any problem or not.
Me: Okay.

Conversation 2
Me: Do you feel lonely sometimes?
KK: Yes of course I do and I am man enough to admit that.
Me: LOL. How do you deal with it?
KK: I bury myself in numerous hobbies and also new hobbies. It temporally cures it till the next long holiday. Seriously, you only feel lonely when come holidays where your peers are all paired up.
Me: True. Weekends... I used to love it but now I dread it.
KK: Take on new hobbies... Meet different people.
Me: Yes I did and I've joined them. *wink wink*

Yes, k2oc.com. It is a registered car club for Kenari and Kelisa car owners. And I've joined their club recently because I want to:
1. To find out what is k2oc all about.
2. To get to know her better.
3. To learn how to maintain her.
4. To expand my social circle of friends.
5. To partake in their charity activities such as this.

There was a bowling shout-out in 1U last Friday night and I went. It was fun even though I bowl like a wobbly fish. I don't know why my ball has the tendency to swerve sideways and go into the 'drains' as if it has been programmed that way. ;)

(Me and member 'Ever' in action)
All of them are kind enough not to laugh at my TERRIBLE bowling skills. Some of them even shared with me their bowling tips, i.e., how to balance myself, aim at the arrows on the floor, how to release the ball and etc.

(DPro is a very patient 'teacher')
After two rounds of bowling games, we went to join the others in Aman Suria for a Teh Tarik (a.k.a TT) session.

(A 'TT' session)
I have never been to a car club gathering before nor have I seen SOOO many different kind of car clubs (and members alike) all converged together at one place. It was really an eye-opener for a newbie like me.

President deftcon is a friendly dude. He came to sit next to me and explained to me what k2oc is all about.

He said:
1. k2oc is a properly registered car club with the government.
2. They are not a car-racing club.
3. They are a bunch of car fanatics who are into cars makeshift and maintenance.
4. They provide an 'avenue' for members to discuss, share and disseminate information about cars.
5. They organise meet-ups, activities, convoys & etc for their club members to mingle and exchange ideas.

Well, if you have a Kenari or Kelisa at home and your butt is itchy, please don't hesitate to come and join us here. :)
