We managed to lure 80+ hot-blooded Maa Lat Lows like these...
To part with their blood like this...
And the process flows go like this:
1) Your finger will be pricked to get a drop of blood to test to make sure you have enough iron to provide a good pint of blood.
2) The medical staff will check your blood pressure too to make sure that you are not the faint-faint type after 'losing' some blood.
3) They will also measure your temperature and question you about certain behaviors or travel that might put you at increased risk for certain diseases.
4) You will then be asked to sit in a lounge chair (See pic above: Majiam a pregnant lady giving birth liddat!!! *Wakakakakakaa*) ;) An area on your arm will be cleansed, and a sterile needle inserted into a vein. Donating a unit of whole blood usually takes about 10 to 15 minutes.
While the Maa Lat Lows were busy donating their hot blood for a good cause, me and Kay L from limahpek were busy camwhoring in another corner. ;)
