Sometimes some things aren't the way we want it...

If I was born a little bit dim. Not so rational. Not so analytical. Not so sharp. Then I would be happily married by now.

I might not have the monetary freedom to buy what I like. I might not have the freedom to choose what I like. I might not even have the freedom of speech to express what I like and don't like.

But then I would have a 'rich man' for husband, three kids I call my own and a Golden Retriever named Kent running around in the big house barking at the birds.

It really DOES sound like a fairytale if I omit the following facts to you... *wink wink*

1. The string of mistresses my husband has/had.
2. The everyday absence of a husband/father figure at home.
3. The bruises he bestowed upon me when he's drunk.
4. The failed business venture with his mates.
5. The way he gambled away his savings.
6. The numerous bills and debts waiting to be cleared.
7. The constant conflicts and beatings at home because of 1 to 6.
8. The meddling mother-in-law who interferes from A to Z.
9. The infants' cries.
10. The dog's barkings.

And holly macaroni geez, I am undoubtedly a true blue pessimist. ;)
