Puisi Bulan Kemerdekaan

31 Aug baru our country Merdeka punya hari,
But the bloggers in M'sia are very 'high' already,
Must be their butts sibeh the itchy,
Especially this Ah Pek from the southern PeeDee.

He started a merdeka puisi,
Summore galak people to buat meme,
And I'm so unlucky,
Because a fella called Inevitable has tagged me.

Let me tell you a story,
About Ali, Titoki and Devi,
All were born in this lovely country,
Grow up wearing sarong, cheongsam and sari.

Eventhough all three have the same identity,
But Ali doesn't need straight As to get into a uni,
Summore with scholarships all ready,
He can go anywhere anytime to study.

Titoki is a bit lucky,
Her papa & mama worked hard and saved some money,
She can thus further her studies,
In an elite university in overseas.

Poor Devi has to fight high and low to gain an entry,
To study in a local university,
Eventhough with straight As and no B,
She is still not good enough to do a medical degree.

Now all three have graduated already,
Devi has become a dentist,
Titoki works in the IT,
And Ali still needs to be 're-trained' to better his Engrish.

So, wahai to all the menteri-menteri,
Please don't forget that it's Ali, Titoki AND Devi's granny,
Together they fight for Merdeka 49 years ago hari ini,
With nothing but sejiwa and sehati.

Shouldn't we too model our granny,
Together we step forward as a family,
In this peaceful and beautiful country,
Without any partiality?
