It will not be the same again...

But the night my dad was admitted to the hospital, I saw her cried. In the living room. Alone. She was watching the rerun of old TVB dramas on Astro's Wah Lai Toi.
"Ma"
"Yes?"
"It's almost 2 in the morning. Are you not tired?" I asked her gently.
She wiped the tears away with the back of her hand.
"No. I'm not sleepy yet." She turned to look at me.
I nodded my head.
Before I disappear myself into my room, I called out to her again.
"Ma"
"Yes?"
"We need to take good care of ourselves first before we can take good care of dad. Good night."
Moments later, I heard her retiring into her own room.
I will never forget how lonely, small and weary she looks on that night...
Ed note: Dear friends, thanks for your comments, prayers, sms-es, emails, encouragements, advices, stories and experiences. Me and my sis have read each and everyone of them. It really brought tears to our eyes to know that there are so many of you out there who cares. Our lives might not be the same again, but we will stay strong and positive to face the challenges ahead together with our dad.
