Tell me I look good in my new haircut or else...

I think my current hairstyle is rather hideous, with fringes that look like a comb of coconut leaves dangling in front of my forehead.

I've been sporting this dreadful hairstyle since Gawd knows when.
And on Sat, I summoned up my courage to see the barber... somewhere in Setapak's Kenny Roger's area with my best friend who just came back from Hong Kong for a short break.

This place is highly recommended by ALL of my friends. The guy who cut my hair is called He-man. I wonder if Hercules, Xena, and She-ra work there too. ;)

Anyhow, it's time to say goodbye to my lovely silky black mane. One last look. And one last photo shoot. Making the decision to have a new hairstyle is so much difficult than saying goodbye to a lover. Sigh.

He-man suggested that instead of having fringes that start from the hairline, the fringes should start from the inside, i.e., deeper inside & away from the hairline. It will give the person a younger look and it's the in-trend now to have an inner layer of fringes that flow from the centre to the side. Just like this Taiwanese idol Joe Cheng...

You tell me how can a guy looks so cute liddat until he looks like a girl one...
I turned to He-man, pierced through his eyes and I said somberly to him with a serious people-dying kindda tone, "My hair is in your hands now. Please do you very best to take good care of it." And he laughed. Like a hyena.

He-man is very kind. He didn't chop off my hair just like that.

Coz he said, as a guy, he still thinks that girls with long hair are forever more attractive than girls with short hair. And he also commented that if the changes are too great, all my prospective bfSsss will be scared away already. Wakakakakaka. He damn funny can die lah.

Before cutting looks like Ah Lian, after cutting becomes Arliana... ;)
So I get to keep my long hair but with a different style...

What's your verdict?

I heart my new hairstyle.
Tell me I look pretty or else I won't tell you where you can eat this yummilicious seafood noodles in the Klang Valley. *winks*
