Not long ago, there was this little boy who came to visit us in our new house with his uncle. He is very cute and playful and he is only 5 years old. He came into the house and greeted everyone except my cousin who is bespectacled.
And so his uncle asked him, "Why are you not calling that jie jie in the corner?"
He replied, "No. I don’t want to call her. She is ugly!"
Total silence pursued. Everyone looked at him dumbfounded with this unexpected response.
Me being me, the quick-witted and sarcastic, I said, "Are you sure you don’t want to call her? She has a lot of sweets, Spiderman movies, Video Games etc etc etc. If you don’t call her, it’ll be your loss leh!"
He replied, "No. She is yucky! Yucky means yucky."
Everyone was stunned again for the second time. Even his own uncle also found it a challenge to persuade him to greet my poor cousin.
Man, this kid is so stubborn. I wish him good luck in getting a Miss Malaysia for wife next time when he grows up. And hopefully the girl he proposes will say this to him, "No, I don’t want to marry you. You are so fugly. Fugly means fugly."
